There are numerous companies manufacturing desiccated coconut powder, more popularly known as DC powder.

In this context, virgin coconut oil (VCO) is the value-added product for DC as a forward integration.

VCO can be expelled from DC by two methods: one by using the screw expeller and the other by using a hydraulic press.
